About the Conference: 

The ELITE Conference, Excellence in Learning, Instruction, and Teaching Economics, is a one-day professional development experience for middle and high school educators. Held on Monday, September 21, in Greenville, SC, the conference brings together teachers from across the Southeast for high-impact learning focused on economics content, teaching strategies, and classroom application.

This conference is designed for middle and high school teachers who teach economics, personal finance, or social studies. Educators from across the region are encouraged to attend, with sessions tailored to both new and experienced teachers.

The ELITE Conference is a joint effort led by the South Carolina Council on Economic Education, in partnership with the Georgia Council on Economic Education, the North Carolina Council on Economic Education, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Center for Economic Education, and many other Economic Education organizations. By bringing educators together, the conference creates a multiplier effect, strengthening classroom instruction and reaching thousands of students.
